Gionee F103 with 1GB RAM, 16GB Internal Storage Launched in India for Rs.11,500
Gionee has launched a series of smartphones in the recent times in almost all price ranges. They have come up with their latest offering the F-series called Gionee F103 The devices under the new F-series will be more focused on Design nThe Gionee F103 is one among the few smartphones with World Mode, i.e., both CDMA and GSM connectivity. The device is launched in India today at a price of Rs. 11,500.
F103 sports a MediaTek MT6735 chipset that was launched last year along with MediaTek MT6753 as MediaTek’s first ‘World Mode’ chipsets. The dual capability mode is not something new for Gionee, but the use of chipset in F103 is quite appreciable. There are several smartphones launched in India including some from Intex, Meizu, and lava with one or the other of MediaTek’s World Mode chipsets.
The device comes with a 5-inch HD 720p display and sports fragile bezels for bezel-less design. It comes with a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded to 128GB via microSD card slot.
Coming to its camera, It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfie shooters. The device offers a decent camera and is similar to other mobiles at this price range.
The device runs on Android 5.0 based Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 OS and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. It comes packed with a 2400mAh removable polymer Li-ion battery that offers 30hours of talk time and lasts upto 480 hours on standby.
Gionee earlier launched Marathon M4 in India for Rs. 15,499 with a high battery capacity of 5000mAh. The smartphone maker is gearing up for another device launch with basic specifications named Pioneer P2M with a 3000mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop priced at 6,999.
