Google shuts down google views

Google shuts down google views officially merges with Google maps.

Google Maps is arguably the best way to get from point to point, but one of the best features is to explore places around you. Google views - lesser known place where people could upload their own photos or photospheres to Google Maps, has been officially shut down by Google, and it's now being integrated directly into Google Maps.

Kernel source for oneplus 2 and oxygen OS 2.0.1 released.

OnePlus co-founder has officially informed via tweet that the kernel source for the one plus 2 has been made available on Github for developers to create custom ROMs. Terms as "2016 flagship killer" this phone comes with oxygen os pre-installed, and this custom ROM is based on android 5.1.

In other news, the OnePlus 2 is updated to OxygenOS 2.0.1, which provided a security patch to prevent someone from using the Stagefright exploit known for taking control of the phone. This update also provides a new camera layout to the phone. In other features, the battery performance along with some bugs has been fixed. The issues related to import/export of contacts on the SIM card has been fixed too. This update also rolls out additional support for global carrier APN.

GIONEE F103 new smartphone

Gionee has launched a series of smartphones in the recent times in almost all price ranges. They have come up with their latest offering the F-series called Gionee F103 The devices under the new F-series will be more focused on Design nThe Gionee F103 is one among the few smartphones with World Mode, i.e., both CDMA and GSM connectivity. The device is launched in India today at a price of Rs. 11,500.
F103 sports a MediaTek MT6735 chipset that was launched last year along with MediaTek MT6753 as MediaTek’s first ‘World Mode’ chipsets. The dual capability mode is not something new for Gionee, but the use of chipset in F103 is quite appreciable. There are several smartphones launched in India including some from Intex, Meizu, and lava with one or the other of MediaTek’s World Mode chipsets.
The device comes with a 5-inch HD 720p display and sports fragile bezels for bezel-less design. It comes with a 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded to 128GB via microSD card slot.
Coming to its camera, It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfie shooters. The device offers a decent camera and is similar to other mobiles at this price range.
The device runs on Android 5.0 based Gionee’s Amigo 3.0 OS and connectivity includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. It comes packed with a 2400mAh removable polymer Li-ion battery that offers 30hours of talk time and lasts upto 480 hours on standby.
Gionee earlier launched Marathon M4 in India for Rs. 15,499 with a high battery capacity of 5000mAh. The smartphone maker is gearing up for another device launch with basic specifications named Pioneer P2M with a 3000mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop priced at 6,999.
