Xiaomi Mi5 to be launched in india today in Delhi

Chinese handset company Xiaomi will launch its latest flagship device 'Mi 5' in India on Thursday. The company has already sent a media invite for its event in Delhi which reads ‘Everything you imagined, and more’.

Priced RMB 1,999 (USD 305 or about Rs 21,000) onwards, Mi 5 will be one of the first devices with Snapdragon 820 processor to be commercially available. It features up to 4GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory.

Mi 5 builds upon the design language of Mi Note, featuring 3D glass. It weighs 129 gm and has 3000 mAh battery and a front fingerprint sensor. It supports 4G+ network.

Xioami sells its products in countries like India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil.

Display Specifications and Configuration

If we talk about the display, Xiaomi Mi5 has 5.2 inches IPS LCD which sport a 2.5D curved glass display and a 3D glass covering back panel. The slim home button which doubles up as the fingerprint sensor, which is said to be the smallest and faster sensor in the market. Multi touch display designed to keep your eyeballs stunned with QHD resolution (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) and a pixel density of around 525ppi.

Processor Specifications:

It has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset which can handle everything with ease when clubbed with 4GB RAM. It is also said to run MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Camera and Storage features : 

The main camera of the Xiaomi Mi5 captures 16 Megapixel snapshots and supports features like autofocus, dual LED flash and others. It will also win the hearts of selfie crazy people with a powerful 13 Megapixel front Camera. There are two Models one with 3GB RAM and 32 GB Storage and other with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.

It is supposed to be backed by a 3600mAh battery with Quick Charge of 3.0 tech.
